I. PALLIDIA VARIEGATA AUREA "ARGENTEA", 34". Lavender self with yellow beard. A change of pace with the accent on striking foliage! This is the silver (or white) variegated form of the original species Iris pallida. Note that the flower form is not modern, but it is charming in its own right. Fragrance reminiscent of grade soda pop! Both gold and silver varieties have light purple blossoms.
